Reviewing the Network Configuration
After you configure a network adapter, you can review the settings by using the
lstcpip command. The lstcpip command has the following syntax:
Usage: lstcpip [-num] [ [-routtable] | [-routinfo] | [-state] | [-arp]
]
[-sockets [-family inet | inet6 | unix] ]
[-stored] [-adapters] [-hostname] [-namesrv]
lstcpip [-state [-field FieldName ...] ] |
[-routtable [-field FieldName ...] ] [-fmt delimiter]
[-num]
lstcpip [-namesrv] | [-interfaces] [-fmt delimiter]
Example 4-9 on page 91 shows sample output for the -adapters, -interfaces,
-routtable, and -stored flags as they are used with the lstcpip command to
show basic TCP/IP configuration.
