11.3 Migrating the LPAR
The following sections describe how to use the IVM UI and CLI to validate,
migrate, and check status on mobile LPAR.
11.3.1 Using the IVM UI
Let us first see how we can perform an LPAR migration with IVM.
Validate
The migration process is started by first selecting View/Modify Partitions from
the Navigation area. With this view open, use the check box for the desired
mobile partition and select Migrate from the More Tasks drop-down box as
shown in Figure 11-10 on page 449.
